Harry's Bio

As a composer and sound designer, Harry Mack has been involved in the video game industry for over 10 years. He has worked on games across diverse genres housing many varied styles of music and sound effects.

Harry’s musical passion began with the piano more than 25 years ago. Since then, his classical training has been accredited the highest grade offered by the Royal Conservatory of Music. Harry also holds an HBA from the University of California, Santa Cruz in Music with a focus in voice and composition.

Harry's current focus lies with the independent games community. He has had the fortunate opportunity of working with some of the industry's most creative minds - Richard Garfield (Magic the Gathering), Jonathan Blow (Braid) and Marc Leblanc (Thief, System Shock).

Prior to opening his freelance audio studio, he was Lead Audio Designer at Mind Control Software (MCS). He worked at their San Rafael, California office for over five years, on nine different titles.

Harry is excited to set ablaze fiddles and fifes in some spooky sea shanties for Dust Devil’s great new project.
